MY BUDDY LOGAN FOUND A HOME TODAY! For anyone who followed his story, he arrived at the TOH animal shelter in June. For the first few months, he kept a safe distance from handlers, refused treats (even the best treats), did not understand (or refused to listen) to simple commands, did not know how to walk on a leash and avoided any type of affection. Once we chipped away at the walls Logan built, he realized that he was worthy of love offered by humans. This gentle giant learned to walk on a harness, he accepts treats like a gentleman, learned the commands: sit, lie down, touch, cookie drop (which requires patience) & agility training. He enjoys belly rubs, hugs and even kisses. I will miss you my friend. Congratulations! Thank you for the TOH staff for providing a loving home for Logan and all of the other animals. You were a great buddy. Happy trails Logan! (OMG - Look how skinny he was when he arrived).
