Link: workcamps.info/icamps/MK-CID/en/camp-details/camp-6376.html Brief description of the camp: International Youth Art Festival "Bitola Open City 2013” is twelfth edition this year and it is organized by the Youth Cultural Center - Bitola. The festival is open to all alternative arts performed by young people. In previous editions of the festival had artists from the U.S., France, Germany, Slovenia, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Japan, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia significant alternative artists. More than 620 artists from around 40 countries around the world have been performed in front of the festival audience. Type of Work: Volunteers will work on festival like staff. They will be in charge for logistics preparation and realization of the festival. Daily work depends of the day but it won’t be longer then 3- 4 hours. Study Theme: Also, volunteers will have creative workshops and will prepare short artistic performance which will be part of the festival’s program. The work camp will consist also an educational process in which the participants will have workshops on Volunteering, Intercultural Learning, Social inclusion and European citizenship. These workshops provided by the leaders of the camp and members of YCC-Bitola (with applicative skills and knowledge) will be used for transferring knowledge and experience and will provide insight for the participants on these topics. Accommodation: Volunteers will be accommodated in student’s dormitory near the centre of Bitola. Showers and toilets available...There will be plenty of food of different kinds (vegetarian food included). Language: English
