Major sibling rivalry in our family...we have tried many ways of trying to help our kids grow through conflict...to be able to stew...express their frustrations, etc. Peter Greer posted this as the best consequence ever because we have seen that it gives them time to process, have eye contact with each other, focus on the conflict and 9 times out of 10, come back wanting to play and enjoying each other...for a few minutes. Hand holding isnt a must, just encouraged. :) FYI: this tactic works in our marriage too (we were once encouraged to do this by our marriage counselor). #partoflife #wearetrying #wefailoften #hatersgonnahate #wedontabuseourkids
