Majoro: I’m not a fortune-teller Posted: 22 July 2014 Time: 01:13 pm Orlando Pirates striker Lehlohonolo Majoro says he is not at all concerned about being booed by the fans of his former club Kaizer Chiefs. The striker moved to Bucs in January from Amakhosi and when he played his first match for Bucs against their bitter rivals on March 15, after replacing Kermit Erasmus in a match that Chiefs won 1-0 at FNB Stadium, his former fans booed him. Majoro retaliated in a post-match interview and said Chiefs fans must focus on their own problems. With the two sides clashing again on Saturday in the Carling Black Label Cup, the 27-year-old appears to have put the incident behind him. “I think that’s all in the past now. I’m a Pirates player and I’m looking forward to the new season. I don’t know [if the boos will continue]. I’m not a fortune- teller, I’m just a footballer,” Majoro says. Meanwhile, Majoro says he remains friends with some Chiefs players off the field and that’s as far as it goes. “I must say I’m still friends with most of the Kaizer Chiefs players, the likes of George Lebese and Itumeleng Khune. We talk and everyone is looking forward to this game. “We are friends off the field, but when we go to the field it is business as usual. Everyone must perform, because that’s our job and it puts bread and butter on the table. At the end of the day we have to be professional and do what’s expected of us,” he concludes.
