Male and Female / Black and White Privilege Checklists Earlier this week I was scolded by a feminist friend that I need to check my male privilege. I had heard of the term being used but had never actually seen the checklist until today. I am sure others are curious as well. As you might expect, once a Male Privilege Checklist was published, a counter response was created as a Female Privilege Checklist. I have put the lists into the comments below. The video is of the lady that started the discussion of privilege. You might expect she would be a militant feminist since her list is often used by feminists in calling out men in a derogatory fashion. Peggy appears to be very gracious and understanding of the differences between men and women, white and black, etc. Her dialogue is important for everyone to understand how the knowledge of privileges existence is best used --- in a proactive and positive way to unite people and reduce the divides that privilege of being born into one group or the other provides. https://youtube/watch?v=e-BY9UEewHw
