Man Arrested On Suspicion of Murder Remains in Custody An 18 year old man arrested on suspicion of the murder of a woman whose body was found in a house in Parliament Road, Middlesbrough, remains in custody today and faces further questioning. Officers have still not been able to formally identify the woman, who is believed to be from overseas. A post mortem examination carried out late on Saturday concluded that the woman had died from injuries sustained during an assault. Detective Chief Inspector Michael Hunt, who is leading the investigation, once again appealed for anyone who has seen or heard anything out of the ordinary in the Parliament Road area in the last few days to come forward: “If you do not want to speak to the police on the non emergency number 101, you can telephone Crimestoppers which is an independent charity where you do not have to leave your name. Their number is 0800 555 111.”
