Man, I am in turmoil. Anyone else going through the same difficulties as me? In times gone by, when the beard was frowned upon and seen as unfashionable I could calmly give my salaams to an individual with a long mane in full confidence that he was muslim. Now however, since the beard has come in vogue it seems that every man I see irrespective of background or creed has got the sunnah lihya going on! Some even compliment it with the jack-ups. My salaam radar is being seriously affected!
