Many have told me they have not been able to link to the article regarding bullying tactics by Mike Pompeo amongst some of his fellow party members. I encourage each person to vote on Tuesday/Today but I also encourage each voter to be informed. I have had verification from at least 4 individuals now that are mentioned in this article that these events did in fact happen. I have no reason to doubt them and believe each voter should consider these issues and actions. I personally believe that Todd Tiahrt is a good man and deserving of the Republican nomination for Congressman. I am an attorney and I love to investigate. After attending a private meeting with Todd Tiahrt and Mike Pompeo back in April, Jim Richardson called me as Chief of Staff and campaigned for Mr. Pompeo for half an hour on the phone. I felt uncomfortable with his use of his official position to try to sway my opinion. At that time I also knew about Mr. Pompeo and Mr. Richardson trying to get Mr. Tiahrts daughter fired from her job as an attorney. I set out to uncover more stories of Pompeo bullying. Everywhere I turned, I found them. This memo represents just a few weeks of investigation. I am sure there are more stories to be told. I did this because we cannot allow this sort of mean-spirited and bullying politics in Kansas. No one likes a bully and Mr. Pompeos behavior will not change unless it is exposed. Congressman Mike Pompeo is a bully. He uses Chicago-style campaign tactics to harass and intimidate people into supporting him. Mr. Pompeo threatens and alienates people who support his political opponents. Mr. Pompeo has bullied the following non-exclusive list of people. Kansans are better than to allow this. Michael ODonnell Kansas State Senator, 25th District. Congressman Mike Pompeo threatened to recruit a Democrat to run against Mr. O’Donnell for his state senate seat if Mr. O’Donnell supports Todd Tiahrt in the 2014 Congressional Republican primary. Mr. Pompeo told the following people about his threat against Mr. O’Donnell: Susan Wagle, Kansas State Senator; Ty Masterson, Kansas State Senator; Jason Watkins, Wichita Chamber of Commerce lobbyist; and Mark Dugan, Brownback Campaign Manager, Mr. Pompeo also told Republican candidates he would provide a shared headquarters for the 2012 general campaign. Mr. Pompeo did not have a significant race in 2012. Mr. Pompeo told Sedgwick County Chairman, Bob Dool that all Republican candidates could bring their literature and signs in to his HQ – except for Michael O’Donnell and Zoe Newton, who had supported Mr. Pompeo’s 2010 Congressional opponent Wink Hartman. Mr. Dool stood up to Mr. Pompeo and told him that the Party would not exclude any Republican candidate. Mr. Pompeo did not back down. He said he would not allow Mr. O’Donnel or Ms. Newton in his office space because they supported his challenger two years earlier. Mr. Dool rented another space for the candidates, at extra cost to the party. In the current 2014 Congressional race, a Pompeo staffer told two sources that a Pompeodirected third party hired a private investigator to follow Mr. O’Donnell and Mr. Tiahrt’s friends. Mr. Pompeo allegedly told these sources he would see Mr. O’Donnell in jail and then widen the noose.
