Evidently some people, including my son, need to go in directions where the roads and bridges are washed out or are covered by mudslides. I trust the remaining children are being cared for, including the orphans. My son is now staying with a kind friend, Uncle Grewinda Marak a few miles away. I just heard tonight from the travel insurance organization that they have approved evacuating Greg but we dont know how soon or to where. Im thankful he is safe. The American consulate told me he has to go to Kolkata to apply for a replacement visa and it could take several weeks from the time of evacuation.
