Many projects appear to slide into a kind of development hell where they drag on for years, neither ending and issuing refunds, nor shipping. Instead, creators continue to post updates every few months, and commenters respond, some still angry, some resigned to the projects fate. While the crowdfunding cycle so often presents a neat and happy package, that arc often turns out to be just a beginning, with no apparent end.
