Man’s body recovered – Hawkesbury River, Windsor Police have recovered a man’s body from the Hawkesbury River at Windsor. The 19-year-old man, a Norwegian National, was using a rope swing in the river just after 2.30pm today (Saturday 26 April 2014) when he jumped in and failed to surface. His friends alerted emergency services when they couldn’t locate him and officers from Hawkesbury Local Area Command attended. A large search commenced and the man’s body was located by police divers just before 6pm. Investigations into the incident are continuing. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
