March towards #Bandipora, #Gandarbal, tomorrow. Srinagar, July 02 (KMS): In occupied #Kashmir, the people will march towards #Bandipora and #Gandarbal tomorrow, to express solidarity with the family members of teenager #Irfan Ahmed Ganai and #Tariq Ahmad, who were martyred by Indian troops on Sunday. Call for the march has been given by the veteran leader, #SyedAli Gilani. The martyred youth belonged to #Markandal and Konda Bal areas of Sumbal, located between the two districts. Syed Ali Gilani has also called for funeral prayers in absentia of the martyrs and protest demonstrations against unjustified killings by army, across Kashmir on Friday. On the other hand, strict restrictions and curfew remained enforced in Bandipora to prevent large-scale protest demonstrations against the killings. The personnel of Indian army and police were deployed in strength to force the people remain indoors. The All Parties Hurriyet Conference at its executive council meeting that was presided over by its Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Srinagar said that the Sumbal incident was India’s premeditated plan to take revenge from the innocent Kashmiris by shedding their blood. The APHC decided to send letters to UN Human Rights Commission, OIC and other human rights organisations highlighting the worst kind of human rights violations committed by Indian troops in the territory. Meanwhile, an APHC delegation led by Hakeem Abdur Rasheed visited Markandal and Kondabal areas of Sumbal andcondoled with the bereaved families. APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan in a separate statement termed the so-called inquiry into the killing of the youth as mere eyewash. Indian authorities put senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah under house arrest to prevent him from visiting Bandipora. However, two delegation of Peoples Democratic Freedom Party led by Muhammad Abdullah Tari and Peoples Freedom League led by Muhammad Altaf Khan visited Tral to pay tributes to the three youth martyred by Indian troops, yesterday. The authorities arrested noted human rights activist and lawyer, Parvaiz Imroz while hewas on his way to a court in Srinagar. APHC-AJK chapter in a meetingpresided over by its convener, Syed Yousuf Naseem in Islamabad denounced the stepped-up Indian state terrorism particularly after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to the territory. In London, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, Chairman International Chamber for Peace and Conciliation, in a statement reacting to Indian External Affairs Minister, Salman Khurshid’s assertions on Kashmir said that Jammu and Kashmir was an internationally acknowledged disputed territory.. #pelter
