Mare is doing well, looking a bit brighter with every meal. Owner is stand offish as far as accepting vet care or money for same. He said mare needs to be under a general for floating as her parrot mouth is so bad. Owner still seems a bit afraid. So with the owners permission and great thanks to all, all we need for this girl is feed ( grain high fat and fibre and soybean meal) donations. She shares her pen with 2 llamas who obviously hay hogs as they move mare away often. I will be spending as much time as I can with the owner without pressure to have his mare vet checked and teeth floated.
