Margibi Association of America Fellow Margibians and Former Residents Please be reminded that the annual convention of the Margibi Association of America previously scheduled for September 12-14, 2014 in Houston, Texas is postponed. The decision to postponed the 2014 convention was reached by the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of MASSA. A formal communication was sent out to All Margibians on August 26, 2014 informing you all about the postponement. The following sections of the Constitution support the postponement of the convention: 1. Section 4.1 A total of (10) persons in the President or Vice President and two other elected officers shall constitute a quorum for a duly called meeting in keeping with the Constitution. In the event of multiple chapters, minimum (3) chapters and there national officers including National President or the National Executive Secretary shall constitute a quorum. 2. Section 5.3 All expenditures transactions or request for funds all expenditures must be within budget approved by the Board of Directors. Any gathering of members of MASSA should be within the confine of the Constitution of MASSA. Please dont be misled by anything on the contrary.
