#MarioPH UPDATE: Work in government offices has been suspended by Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr., for today, September 19, 2014, except for those agencies whose work involves the delivery of basic and health services, disaster response and other vital public services. The following areas are covered by the suspension in government offices: 1. Metro Manila 2. Zambales 3. Bataan 4. Pampanga 5. Tarlac 6. Nueva Ecija 7. Bulacan 8. Rizal 9. Cavite 10. Batangas 11. Laguna 12. Quezon, including Polillo Island, 13. Mindoro Provinces 14. Camarines Norte 15. Marinduque 16. Pangasinan For the private sector, the discretion to suspend work lies with the individual companies and employers.
