Marquette University is partnering with BGCA for a fifth year to offer full-tuition scholarships for up to three Club members or alumni through its Urban Scholars Program. Members who have participated in the Youth of the Year program at any level are especially encouraged to apply. BGCA is grateful for Marquette’s ongoing, generous support of Club young people’s college aspirations. Interested students must meet Marquette’s admission requirements, demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and submit both the online Marquette admissions application and BGCA/Urban Scholars scholarship application. Each scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the student remains in good academic and disciplinary standing. Marquette’s admissions application deadline for the academic year beginning fall 2014 is Dec. 1, 2013. The scholarship application deadline is Feb. 28, 2014. It is strongly recommended that both applications be submitted at the same time by or before Dec. 1.
