Marrero Estelle is sad to announce the passing of Life Member Paul Wetzel. Paul committed 45 years of service to MEFD and was still an active administrative member serving as a Board of Directors Officer. Paul was also a Life Member with David Crockett and his commitment to his fire companies and our community will be greatly missed. Paul’s arrangements are as follows: Mothe Funeral Home 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, La 70072 Westlawn Memorial Cemetery 1225 Whitney Ave Gretna, La 70056 Tuesday May 6th, Visitation from 1800 -2200 Wednesday May 7th, Visitation from 0800 – 1100, There will be a mass for 1100 with a procession to the burial site to follow.
