Martin Luther King is not a day. He is a man who when called to arms did not hesitate. The banner was picked up from the likes of Medgar Evers and carried in a composed non violent demonstration. Not until the world itself witnessed on their 19 inch black and whites the violent reaction of the oppressors did it say Enough. That this man was killed by violence is not a surprise. The dream lived and change for the better began. Yet the journey is not over. There is more to do. The absence of justice anywhere is injustice everywhere. His words ring loudly from Sanford Florida all the way to Oakland California. Violence is not the answer.
