Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28, 29 KJV) It amazes me that we know of these verses and we even talk of a judgement day yet we believe that our deceased loved ones go to heaven and/or hell. I have seen posts, books and websites of people who claim they went to hell and saw people burning and/or went to heaven and saw their grandparents. Does the Bible support such teachings? What did Jesus mean here and on many other texts and what is judgement day for if you already in heaven and/or hell?
