I would like to share a couple of scientific researches which were conducted prior to launching this course: ★ Research 1 Parents Research For this research we reached out to parents and asked them to specify the key aspects which they want to see in their children in terms of English proficiency. The parents wanted the following 3 things in order of priority Priority 1 - whenever they are at a gathering/ family function/ get together etc, the child should be able to contribute to a discussion Priority 2 - the child should not hesitate in putting forward his thought process to all Priority 3 - the child should get good marks in school exams The above clearly highlighted that the parents today want their children to be able to use English in real life scenarios and apply it in everyday activities and not only get full marks in school exams. Hence, English Express was designed, keeping in mind the expectation of the parents and needs of the children. ★ Aim : The curriculum teaches Application of English Concepts in real life scenarios, so that the child can actually use the language in daily life ★ Research 2 Student Lifecycle In this research we tried to figure out that what does a child go through if he is perceived to be weak in English Following is what we found out Step 1 - parents enroll the child in grammar tuition class Step 2 - the child is taught rules of grammar with emphasis on the correct forms and rule Step 3 - the curriculum is complete, however the child still doesn’t improve in his English Application ability and the parents are dissatisfied Reason - A CHILD WILL SPEAK CORRECTLY, ONLY WHEN HE WOULD SPEAK A CHILD WOULD WRITE CORRECTLY, ONLY WHEN HE WOULD KNOW WHAT TO WRITE The problem with the students is, that THEY DO NOT KNOW, WHAT TO WRITE ON A TOPIC AND ALSO THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO SPEAK ABOUT A TOPIC And this is what is the commitment of our program ★ AIM: The course enables the child to Think, write and speak on any topic in English For example if at your house, there is a discussion going on about mobile phones, but your child is not able to generate content on the topic, he will not be able to contribute to the discussion and this will be equated to him not knowing English, however he knows all the rules of the grammar, the challenge is, he is not able to generate content and this is the primary problem which has to be solved.
