The History Of America, and other places, too, tells of sacrifices, lynchings, burning of bodies, etc. In the Bible, the burning of animals in sacrifice to GOD was done, but GOD was more pleased with the unseen beauty of people, such as, adhering to His voice, justice and judgement, a broken and contrite heart, loving Him with all blessings inside, loving others as ones self, etc., but animal sacrifices were done to show and to teach, until the sacrifice of an innocent man, Christ Eph5:2, who was killed by people, who became all the sacrifices needed for the saving of the soul. JESUS.
