Measure…The IMMEASURABLE? How do you measure… the - TopicsExpress

Measure…The IMMEASURABLE? How do you measure… the IMMEASURABLE? Like success in the mission field? Should we “measure” ? Can we measure? Oh sure we can keep track… matrix… record...report and document. But success? What does that look like? Salvations? Healings? Miracles? Church Plantings? Dead raisings? Lepers cleansed? Blind eyes opened? Deaf ears opened? Demons cast out? Some of you scoff… I’ve seen all of these. If your not seeing these… you’re not a Missionary. You are a humanitarian aid worker at best. Or dead weight. If your not seeing these…you need to check your Christ..ianity. Because everywhere he went/goes signs follow. But the question remains… What does success look like? Tonight I am going once again to our Prayer Hut with about 75 kids… 10-22 years old. Friday night.. yep. To WORSHIP the King Jesus. Not party, not feast, not play, not sleep. Just WORSHIP Him. Sit at His feet… be in His Presence. Get to KNOW Him. Phil 3:10 Will we Dance? Yes. Will we shout? Yes. Will we cry? Yes. Because that’s what Lovers do. But the question remains…Can we measure success in the Mission Field? Tonight.. there will be no preaching, no alter calls. No miracle service… no formula or agendas. Yet… 75 Orphans. Will stand in AWE of their FATHER. 75 Children will Worship their Lover. 75 Broken Discarded Lost Abused Souls… will WORSHIP the ONE… the only ONE they can TRUST. That’s Faith. That’s LOVE. Some of these children came from a place called the Graveyard… because it was a Graveyard… and nobody ever came back from there. There they lived in a pack… a gang… a pile. A place where the men in town knew they could come…. rough, dirty, hell. Because no one could stop them. Except ONE. The ONE. HE sent them to us. IRIS Children’s Village. Home. Safe. Free. And tonight I watch them… those same girls. Lift their hands… offer themselves… to the ONE. The only ONE who ever loved them without expecting anything in return. The only ONE who could fix the Brokenness. Pick up the Discarded. Find the Lost. Restore the Abused. And save their SOULS. I don’t know how to measure that… But if that’s not success, then I will waste my LIFE as a FAILURE. Write it down. Measure it. Document it…because LIFE as I dreamed it---could never measure up to the IMMEASURABLE GRACE of the Free Gift of Righteousness I have found in Him. The ONE. Jesus.
