Media Alert, August 24, 2013: Nanojems has just engraved the first million digits of pi on crystal and sapphire surfaces. Guinness World Records is currently reviewing an application regarding this feat and it was done as part of a Kickstarter project that closes this Tuesday, August 27th at 1pm. The aim of the project is not only to create the unprecedented collectables but also to debut a new artistic media that can be used to create custom pieces such as personalized Facebook and Instagram gems, legacy jewelry and intricate multidimensional wall art engraved on sapphire with gold and other precious metals. The world record breaking pieces are available for viewing until 11am Tuesday, August 27th, and one of the inventors is available for interview by appointment.
