Our offices operate under the name MediCann and are well known throughout California as a legitimate leader in medical cannabis evaluations. Alternative Treatments Management, Inc. offers 15 medical office locations throughout California. We currently have employment available for a medical assistant who enjoys customer service and being an active part of a community. Our medical assistants host the patient experience through front and back office responsibilities. Primarily, MediCann medical assistants insure that patients receive quality medical services in accordance with our mission and C.A.R.E values (Compassion, Access, Respect and Education). Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant with clinical experience Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Outgoing, analytical and self-reliant Detail oriented. Duties Perform front office check in, scheduling and appointment scheduling. Perform back office medical history review, clinical evaluation, orders and procedures. Provide patient resources and education Perform routine supply inventory Maintain a clean and orderly office environment. Oversee medical office repair and maintenance Perform outreach marketing to local community businesses Responsibilities Demonstrate excellent customer service Able to communicate with medical professionals and administrators comfortably Local travel Work occasionally on Saturdays Maintain a reputation as a respected member of the community Work hours range from Part-Time to Full-Time The salary is commensurate with your experience.
