Meet our new Ruff House residents, Annie and Oakley (has the blue eye). Annie and Oakley are guesstimated to be 14 month old Hound/Doberman possible Shepherd mixes. They are a bonded pair and we spent the morning going to the vet, running errands and getting to know them better. They are amazing in the car, great with kids of all ages, people and other dogs. From what we have seen in the time we have had them, their prey drive seems low and they rather watch a squirrel run by then chase it. We are working on leash training and they do well but are not used to walking on the left side so we are training them with that. Oak weighed in at 66 lbs and Annie is a slender 55lbs. They are tall and lanky, sleek and strong and have a pretty laid back, mellow temperament. More to come but they are gems!
