Meet our new babies(young pups) arriving from Bankok Thailand in 6 days! This is Brindy and Minnie(Minnie The Moocher). They were both going to be part of the meat trade(in Vietnam) but now they are safe. Poor Brindy, on the left, saw her whole fur family die in front of her...they were living in a temple in NE Thailand and someone poisoned them. Brindy is the only one that did not come out to eat so she survived. Her next stop was going to be the meat trade where they do violent, painful things to these babies to tenderize them up before eating them. Minnie cannot fully use her back legs because she was hit by a car in NE Thailand and then attacked by wild street dogs that repeated bit her in the stomach. She too was going to go to the meat trade. Her little legs seem to be healing though and we have a feeling she will be walking just fine!!!! We have adopted Minnie, however we found out that Brindy is her BFF and they are currently inseparable. We did not have the heart to separate them so they will come together. For now, Brindy is our foster...we have already fallen in love with both of them and we havent even met them yet. Luckily Patarin Phadungpisuth saved these babies and has saved many more from this horrific fate. Thank you Patarin for all that you do. We cannot wait to meet our new babies. My daughter, Ashley Nowak and I will be making the 6 hr and 38 minute drive to Portland where they will be arriving after their long International flight. We will stay there for a night or two to bond with them and will then make the trip back home so they can meet their new brothers and sisters and see their new safe home!!!!!
