Meet the Staff: Mychal Brown Mychal started at DCHM in May as a Museum Assistant, but she is not a new face to the Museum. She began her journey with us in Spring of 2010 as a volunteer, assisting Curator Sara Arnas with a large collection of artifacts from the Woodstrup Family. This collection will serve as the basis for our upcoming exhibit this Fall in “Inheriting DuPage: A Family History” which celebrates DuPage County 175 years of growth and prosperity. Mychal’s favorite pieces from the “In Vogue” exhibit are the Elgin National pocket watches. She is looking forward to “Inheriting DuPage” where there will be a handmade slate board on display that was brought to the county in 1836 by David Thurston.
