Merry Christmas everyone! I have a story to tell, not to boast or make a charitable deed made public, but to merely encourage you and give you something to think about. After having a nice warm Christmas around our tree, Christmas breakfast in my stomach and much more, Im brought back to yesterday. Yesterday while being amongst the hustle and bustle of last minute things in very busy section of town, I gazed upon two homeless people, standing in the rain and mud with tattered clothing and dirty bodies...I drove on like everyone else. Then my Jesus who is the reason for the season, brought a little heartbreak and compassion to me that filled and overwhelmed me to the point of tears. I turned around in the middle of my rush and did something, not going to give all the details but I turned around...Jesus came into the world for all of us and did the ultimate turn around when he did and eventually died to finish it! I am thankful for the impression he has on my heart. So even if you didnt get anything for Christmas or get to see your loved ones even, remember that there is someone with no tree, no family who cares, standing in less than adequate clothing in the pouring rain...and that Christmas is much more that boxes and ribbons and bows and food, and even so much more than family...love you all Merry Christmas
