Met Professor Hemen Mukherjee (HNM) yesterday evening, in his residence at Santoshpur. He was one of the legends of Presidency College, Physics Department in those Golden Days. I am sure, he has quite a crowd of fans among my batchmates and other students of the Department. It was delight to find him in a reasonably good health condition. Indeed, HNM has not even changed his look significantly ! although he is well over 80 now.
