~Met a man at the bank today who loved Mollie, and we began talking about shepherds, etc and had great stories.....he also was aware and disheartened that we are exterminating our wolves, and we are losing them yet again, and forever....and how vital they are to the eco-system........that we send coal to china, etc, pipelines, tar sands, climate change via cattle, ad infinitum.... .....PLEASE RESEARCH the plight of our wolves and lend your voice before it is too late.....the unchecked and ubiquitous killing continues, even in the most remote areas where wolves are no threat to humans or livestock, even Yellowstone wolves.....we have eradicated their habitats and over-depleted their natural prey, so they are starving.....then they are demonized, tortured and slaughtered for JUST TRYING TO SURVIVE AND FEED THEIR PUPS~ they are a vital apex predator and are being wiped out b/c of special interest groups and the wealth of the oil/coal/cattlemens/hunting lobbies who buy the legislature ~ ~ please lend your voice if able, research and see how desperate the situation has become in the last two years~ Sincerest gratitude to all who care for our wolves, our environment and our Earth~
