MetroNews Morning News Headlines: The states chief health officer, Dr. Letitia Tierney is raising questions about this weeks claim by Marshall professor Dr. Scott Simonton of finding formaldehyde in the Charleston water system. Tierney says there are major questions about the method of his research to arrive at the findings. Governor Tomblin has announced more water will be distributed in areas where people are still wanting it. The water is being transferred from the areas of low demand in the nine-county region to the areas of high demand. The House of Delegates shoots down a proposal which would have allowed a member of the House on active duty with the National Guard to vote on House bills. Delegate Josh Nelson of Boone County hasnt been in the session this year because of his military service. A Louisiana man pleads guilty to the misdemeanor charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of a Wheeling Jesuit student. Jarrett Chandler, 24, a worker with a drilling crew attacked and beat to death Kevin Figaniak last August. Co-defendant Craig Peacock of Florida goes on trial later this year.
