Michael Schumachers manager, Sabine Kehm, has confirmed reports that doctors at Grenoble hospital have begun the process of waking the German from his induced coma. Kehm had previously dismissed the rumour as speculation, but today confirmed the news, choosing to announce it only once the process has begun. Michaels sedation is being reduced in order to allow the start of the waking up process which make take a long time. For the protection of the family, it was originally agreed by the interested parties to communicate this information only once the process was consolidated. The family of Michael Schumacher is requesting to respect its privacy, and to not disturb the doctors treating Michael in their work, read a statement.
