Michael Supports the Anthony Nolan Trust... Last week there was an event in Parliament to support the Anthony Nolan Trust which I was pleased to attend. The Anthony Nolan Trust focus on helping leukaemia patients and specialise in bone marrow transplants. They have an excellent reputation across the country. Their current campaign is to lobby the HM Revenue and Customs to send a flyer to every 16 year old, inside the envelope when they send the National Insurance Number. The flyer (paid for by the Trust) would encourage people to give blood and thereby strengthen the resources for the transplant register.
