Mike Gunnels and Sarah Posey Cowboy and Dressage Instructor working at Whipple Creek Park on Whipple Creek Way trail this is the trail heading east between the two bridges on the blue trail. This trail will in the future connect with the connector trail and fairgrounds park and the Clark County fairgrounds It has heavy horse use from the stables and has erosion problems because of the extreme steep grade we added switchbacks and gravel with water bars to stabilize the trail and help drain water off the trail. Today was a major win on getting the gravel where needed Thank you Volunteers you came out to lend a hand to make it a safe passable hill again This small section of trail has taken at least 50 hrs and months of extreme volunteer effort and many donated tractor, power wheel barrow and stock to move rock haul logs, set posts, and water bars part of the gravel money was donated from people who board at the stable and tractors came to help from the stable Thank you so much everyone we need to plant ferns and some trees to help hold the soil so could use more help
