Mission College Aikido is a functional martial art that does not depend on physical stature or strength. It is principle based and effective. This class can not only change the way you view martial arts but the way you interact with others or view life. It is that powerful. This Fall 2013 Mission College will be offering our Aikido and Self Defense classes as follows: Saturday 9:00am -12:10pm KIN 051B Aikido Beginning Section#29973 or you may enroll in WHP005R Aikido Conditioning Section # 27835 which runs concurrent (1.0 unit of college credit (UC/CSU). Wednesday evenings 7:00pm-10:10pm KIN 055A Self Defense Section# 26896 (1.0 unit of college credit(UC/CSU) Please note that our classes will be held in room W1-501(Dance Studio) and that the first Aikido class meeting will be 8-24-13, Sat. at 9:00am. We are continuing to give the highest quality of instruction teaching the foundational principles of the art ( centering, relaxation under stress, Three Pillars Dynamics, ki development, ground path, etc. ) as well as applications and techniques for self defense. You can register online at missioncollege.org . You can also register in person at the Admissions & Records office. It is important that you register immediately. Space is limited.
