Missys Minutes: Little Miss is a funny girl. We are working on her skin issues with weekly moisturizing conditioners and coconut oil in her food. We found she had tapeworms, so both doggies are being treated. She also had oral surgery on Monday. Dr.Stang also had to remove 14 teeth from her. She must have had some kind of big trauma to the right side of her face because she had a large fractured molar hanging in the top of her jaw (other vet said it was a tumor!). She had a terrible infection in both upper and lower right jaws. Teeth removed and jaw irrigated. On antibiotics for a total of 4 weeks. Her right ear has a fold at the top because of a hematoma to the area. Dr. said it was all from something as bad as a horse kick. He graciously knocked down his bill for her too. What a great guy. We are using Care Credit to pay for these 2 corgi-people! She is a little pip!. she whines when we pet her! She likes toys. She has no fears when out walking and even barked and wanted to go after another dog and a man....had to rein her in there, but she listens very well. Unfortunately, Dr. Stang said she is a poor example of breeding, but shes a little elf to me, and I dont care what she looks like! She is a good match for Noble, and thats what we wanted. They pee together, poop together, sniff together, etc. Missy is more open to things in the world than Noble, of course, and thats good. I just wish I knew what happened to the side of her face. So, she lies under the Christmas tree once in a while and sleeps with my college daughter! So at least my Scarlett has 1 dog to cuddle! Til next time...
