MnDOT needs your help to support Worker Memorial Day Each year, on April 28, the Minnesota Department of Transportation observes Worker Memorial Day to honor those killed or injured while working on the state’s transportation system. This year, MnDOT encourages you to show your support for Worker Memorial Day and those who build and repair our roads and bridges by joining in our Thunderclap, a social media tool that lets many people share the same message at the same time, like a virtual flash mob. If you give your one-time approval, on April 28 at 9 a.m. the Thunderclap will launch and your friends and family will see that you support Worker Memorial Day and your pledge to drive safely in work zones. MnDOT needs at least 250 people to sign up or nothing happens, so please • Go to thndr.it/PudMJE • Click on the method you want to use to show your support, Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr • Write a personal message that will be added to your Thunderclap (optional) • Click on add my support Thank you for your help. Together, we can save lives and keep road construction workers safe this summer!
