Monday Morning Motivation: WHERE is your FAT? WHERE IS YOUR FAT? You looking a little skinny this morning. I know this is a lil wierd but i really just wanna talk about FAT. I know your like okay, Elect lady has lost her mind but really lets talk about FAT. Lets talk about the definition of FAT. FAT is a nutrient, it is crucial for normal body function and without it we could not live. Not only does fat supply us with energy, it also makes it possible for other nutrients to do their jobs. You see the effects of fat inside your body on the outside of your body right? Well im not actually talking about YOUR fat. FAT to me mean FAITH AND TRUST. Where is your Faith and Trust? Funny enough it is true to the definition of fat above, lets change it around a bit to make it applicable to our lives. Faith And Trust is like a nutrient, it is crucial for normal life function and without it we could not live. Not only does faith and trust supply us with energy, it also makes it possible for other nutrients to do their jobs. The bible says several things about faith but i will highlight two things about FAITH: 1. Faith without your work is absolutely dead but if we read down into the scripture we see that a man is justified by his works not faith only. So WORK YOUR FAITH. James 2:14-26New King James Version (NKJV) 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does itprofit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show you my faith by my[b] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[c] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[d]And he was called the friend of God.24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 2. FAITH IS YOUR HOPE BUT ULTIMATELY A TRUST IN SOMETHING YOU CANNOT SEE. Hebrews 11:1New King James Version (NKJV) 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 3.YOUR lITTLE FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS. Just have a little mustatd seed faith. Matthew 17:20New King James Version (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief;[a] for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Jesus was aware that your FAT would take time to develop so he decided to say to us as his kingdom people because im already aware that you have trouble believing ill allow you to have Faith smaller than any other seed now and allow you to be able to speak to your problems and move them out of your way...because i know that when your mustard seed faith grows as a mustard seed grows in a garden it will become great just as a mustard seed at full growth becomes a tree. Today i say to you to exercise your FAT. It is a neccesity for you to live! Today whatever you are asking God for apply your Faith And Trust and watch God move. Those problems you have....speak to them...that new job you want....speak to it...your financial instability...speak to it...but than after speaking to it get up and work toward it because Faith without YOUR work is dead. Lets pray... God, I thank you for allowing our faith to build in you! You said that we had the power through faith to speak to the mountains in our life and they be moved. So today we speak to every mountain, every molehill, every setback, every issue, every down place, every spirit of depression, hurt, defeat and principality and we tell it by faith to MOVE OUT OF OUR WAY! God we thank you that we are now SPEAKING OUR FAITH! Lord you said that faith without works are dead and our works justify us not just our faith alone so God today all of those things we are asking for God were gonna start putting in the work.
