More groups urge re-election of Ndoma-Egba As political activities takes centre stage, more groups and political blocs have continued to openly declared their support and readiness to ensure the re-election of the Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma –Egba in 2015 for Central Senatorial District of Cross River State. Youths of Obubra Local Government Area held an unprecedented street rally in Obubra community the same way another group had done in Ikom Local Government Area did. The youths, during the march, also rooted for President Goodluck Jonathan’s continuity in office as President and Commander-in-chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2015 and described the senate leader as a high ranking senator with the charisma and intellectual depth to assist the President in consolidating and actualising his agenda for a greater and united Nigeria. Addressing the mammoth crowd at Ofatura, Adun, meeting point of the solidarity rally, the Obubra Local Government Coordinator for the Senate Leader, Egbe Abeng Egbe, said what has just happened is a test-run ahead the proper campaign for the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] to show that Obubra Local Government Area is owned by Ndoma-Egba. Egbe, who is also leader of the Heroes Organization, maintained that the solidarity match was to affirm the decision that, the people of Obubra have adopted Ndoma-Egba and no other to represent them in the Senate, explaining that his contributions cut across the entire nation and even beyond the shores of Nigeria.
