More than 130 developing countries have called on the UN to stop vulture funds undermining debt restructuring deals like those at the centre of Argentinas US court battle. Sarah-Jayne Clifton, director of Jubilee Debt Campaign, said: This is a welcome move. [But] the danger is that rich countries such as the UK will seek to block, delay or undermine this proposal on behalf of financial sector lobbyists.
