More than 3,300 people from 64 countries attended the WPC 2013 in Montreal, Canada. They came away with new friendships, knowledge of ongoing scientific and clinical research and studies, and were encouraged to do more and inspired to stay involved. Participants heard from people like Tim Hague, winner of the Great Race Canada (GRC) who conquered the competition to be the first winner of the GRC who happens to live with Parkinsons and from Dr. Warren Olanow who gave an incredible Special Lecture on the history of neuroscience and the giants of the past who helped inspire Parkinsons research. Participants also met and heard from many of the young investigators and clinicians who are forging their paths in the Parkinsons field and who are committing themselves for the long haul until we can close the door on Parkinsons once and for all. Join us in Portland, Oregon USA for the WPC 2016!
