Mormons love to get into other peoples business. In fact, they love this a bit too much. You may have heard about Baptism For The Dead. Thats where they baptize everybody who ever lived on the earth in a proxy ceremony that looks a lot like a normal baptism but you go under for any number of dunks, as many as unique names are available that day or that you have gathered from doing your genealogy. I never met any of my relatives besides my immediate family for the most part so I wasnt big into that either. It was always a lot of pressure to always be gathering names or else when you make it to heaven your family wont be either or worse, they other way around, you didnt make it because you werent diligent enough. They love that word, diligent. Everything we did regarding the temple was to be done with diligence, using all your time, energy and so on. So the more I didnt follow the rules the more guilty I would feel. By the time I was a teenager I figured my chances for going to heaven were pretty much over.
