Morning Devotion for My Family’s Protection Oh my beloved Father, I pray that you cover me and our family like an eagle covers her nest today so that we might be preserved to worship you. The days are evil yet you have said that not one hair shall fall from our heads that you do not know of (Luke 21:18). Keep us from the many trials today, if it is Your will, and bring us back safely to our homes today so that we might kneel to You and give you thanks for all that you have done for us in keeping us and preserving us for Yourself (John 10:28-29). I know that your steadfast love never dies and is not diminished by our disobedience and that You will never love us more on our best days nor will You love us any less on our worst. For those of us whom You have redeemed, you keep and preserve for Your coming kingdom (John 6:37, 39). I thank You that you always listen to us and please hear me now; keep us safely in Your hands and in Your arms and keep us from the Evil One in the Lord God our Savior’s name I pray, amen.
