Morning all, still hanging in there. Very smoky closed the road to all but residents. Last nights rain didnt help as much as we hoped. Its pretty ferocious out there at the moment really hard trying to keep property clear with the wind. There are so many helicopters again. The temp is rising. We have had embers falling again, and a warning just came through that bush that has already been alight is re-burning. The fire at springwood has jumped Containment lines. So thats as much as I can tell you at the moment. On a positive note neighbours have been amazing very supportive. On our street it was decided that children under 12 would be evacuated last night so that only children who could actively participate in ember control stayed. Teenagers have been incredible, helping out etc. I will keep u apprised as I can. Thanks everyone for your support.
