Most Native American cultures were warrior societies. They habitually raided each other, counted coup (in the west), and stole brides. Once horses were introduced to the Plains Indians they became the object of raids and war. Was there friction between the Inuit and other native tribes? Sure. There was also conflict between the Eskimos that made it to Greenland and the Vikings before they died out during the Little Ice Age.
