Most current situation: Kevin Covan has been appointed as the Northeast Regional Field Director for the R. Langston Foundation, Inc. The mission and purpose of the R. Langston Foundation, Inc., 501(c)(3) organization, a grassroots effort to promote youth by creating opportunities and giving them access to all the tools needed to help them reach their goals in sports, education, performing arts and volunteerism. We can mentor our youth in creating a better quality of life for themselves and their families, thereby enriching our communities. Some of the many objectives of this project is to get the youth off the streets, instill strong morals and values, educate them on how to properly utilize their skill sets, and engage them in a variety of activities including sports, education and performing arts.
