Most of our people have been subliminally numbed into accepting the role of inferiority. This was initiated out of every avenue possible that impacts normal life including religion, education, entertainment, music, and the list goes on. None of these ever included the African American in a positive light in one way or another. Of these categories, religion was the most powerful influence being used against the African American. It was not religion alone that brought about the negativity, but rather how it was presented to us, and to the society at large. Until this changes, racism will continue to be a problem in society.
