Most of you know that my sister, Marie has been battling breast cancer/Metastatic breast cancer for the last 13+ years. My mother is a two time survivor and my sister Kathleen is a survivor for the past 5+ years. As the sister/daughter who has not had the diagnosis I was compelled to become involved in the Sister Study. I wanted to be part [small part] of finding the cure. I have been part of the Sister Study for over 12 years now. It started with a huge questionnaire about where we grew up, what kind of food we ate, did we use pesticides etc. They took a sampling of my hair and fingernails as well as blood and more. Well, all these years later, progress is being made, little by little. Anyway, I received this email today . . .
