Mother Nature has shown it is indeed a COLD January in the Finger Lakes! The crew has been working tirelessly to combat the fiercely cold temperatures overnight and into today. Heres a video Shawn took at sunrise this morning of our new wind machines in action. In it, you can clearly see the steam from the lake and the power of the wind when it comes around and kicks up the snow. They kept the vines about three degrees warmer last night compared to the previous night when we ran them for the first time - weve seen about a six degree difference, so things are definitely moving in the right direction!
