Mothers Day is a very special day to celebrate our moms. But CSS would like to acknowledge those mothers who often seem to be forgotten and unappreciated because they may not be in their childrens lives. Please join us this Saturday to celebrate Birthmothers Day-- on the day before Mothers Day-- because birthmothers were mothers before another woman could be. If you adopted a child, please try to reach out to your childs birthmother. Send a letter to her through your agency, or if you are in contact give her a call or an email. And even if its a closed adoption, just acknowledge her her on Facebook and to the universe! So many amazing women will be aching this Sunday because life threw them a lemon and they could not parent their child. Please remember the birthmothers.
